Vietnamese high school EFL teachers’ perceptions of teaching cultural contents during the Covid-19 pandemic: A case study at Tra Vinh City

In the field of foreign language education, cultural knowledge is as important skills. To date, little research explores how Vietnamese EFL (English a language) teachers perceive teaching during Covid-19 pandemic. fill such gaps in literature, this study was conducted on 64 high school Tra Vinh Province with questionnaire and 06 participants an in-depth interview to explore their perceptions pandemic, especially when there reduction contents new curriculum. This article applied framework Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) adapted from Byram, Gribkova, Starkey (2002) Cultural Iceberg analyze teachers’ strategies content. The findings revealed that still have positive view role teaching, they teach despite English textbooks. Effective online were also revealed.
